Guardian Homes
Guardian Homes are an integral part of creating a responsible breeding program, allowing us to provide a loving, family-oriented environment for each our dogs, while still enabling them to be a part of a breeding program.
In a guardian home arrangement, a dog or puppy is placed with a carefully selected family for free. This family will care for the dog as their own, providing them with love, attention, and a comfortable home. The dog will live with the family full-time, receiving all the benefits of a pet, including exercise, training, and companionship.
When the dog is ready for breeding, they return to our care for the duration of the whelping and puppy raising period. Afterwards, the dog returns to their guardian family to continue living as a beloved pet until the next planned breeding. Once they are retired from our breeding program, they are spayed/neutered, and the guardian family gains full ownership of the dog.
This arrangement ensures that our breeding dogs experience the best of both worlds—being part of a family while also contributing to the health and future of our breed. In return, the guardian family receives a well-bred, high-quality dog without the initial investment of the cost of the puppy. We’re grateful for the families who partner with us in our guardian home program, as they play a crucial role in the success of our breeding program and the well-being of our dogs.
